Choices on a career path are the most important decision a student can make.  BCL working with the Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center coop program help students do just that.  It’s a path that leads to further education or directly into the manufacturing workforce.

BCL Manufacturing has always encouraged an apprentice program to introduce today’s youth into modern technology in manufacturing.  Young skilled workers in precision manufacturing are always in demand and BCL Manufacturing is now working with our local technology schools and high schools to expose students to today’s needs.

We are working with 10th, 11th and 12th graders in a Co-op program where they attend school ½ day and then work in a manufacturing environment the 2nd ½ day.

In 2016, we invited a group of 6th graders on a technology tour to help better educate them to all facets of metal manufacturing.
