BCL Manufacturing and Windber Middle School teamed up on a STEM education program whose mission was to increase awareness of future career opportunities for students within a local industry or business.

The students, in charge of all aspects of the video’s production, then entered the Catalyst Connection sponsored “Explore the New Manufacturing Video Contest” held within the Cambria and Somerset County regions.  There were six schools participating in this contest.

On March 23, 2017, an awards ceremony held at UPJ with 150 in attendance, was when the Windber students won “The Most Creative” category for their efforts.
